1" Satin and antiqued finish sterling silver St. Stephen large round medal on a 24" stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant features a raised image of Saint Stephen on the front, who is shown standing on stones preaching the Gospel. On the top and bottom of the pendant are the words, "Saint Stephen Pray For Us". The back of the medal is blank with a brushed finish but can be engraved with the message of your choice. Includes an elegant deluxe velour jewelry box. Saint Stephen was condemned for committing blasphemy against the Jewish temple and was stoned to death. As such, he is often represented standing on a pile of rocks, with rocks on his head, or carrying rocks. He is the Patron Saint of masons and bricklayers, as well as Deacons.
