15/16" Antiqued finish sterling silver St. Raphael round medal on a 20" stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant features a raised profile image of Saint Raphael on the front, who is shown in his image of an archangel. On the top and bottom of the pendant are the words, "Saint Raphael Pray For Us" in black text. The left and right sides of the medal feature engraved and antiqued stars. The back of the medal is blank with a brushed finish. Includes an elegant deluxe velour jewelry box. Saint Raphael is one of the seven Archangels, and one of the only three who are mentioned by name in the Bible. His name means "God heals." He is the patron saint of travelers, the blind, bodily ills, happy meetings, nurses, physicians, and medical workers. He is often pictured holding a staff and either holding or standing on a fish.
