The pendant features a polished finish border with sapphire glass stones at the top. In the center, surrounded by blue enamel, is a satin finished figure of Mary. On the back of the pendant in a brushed finish is the letter M, representing Mary, surmounted by a cross representing the sacrifice of Jesus, and surrounded by twelve stars that represent the twelve apostles. Includes an elegant deluxe velour jewelry box. The origin of the miraculous medal comes from the visions Saint Catherine Laboure experienced in the year 1830 of Mary Immaculate.
