Sterling Silver Rectangle St. Patrick Medal, Patron Saint of Ireland - 1 1/8"

1-1/8" Satin finish rectangular sterling silver St. Patrick medal on a 24" stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant features a raised profile image of Saint Patrick with diamond drag engraved details. Saint Patrick is shown with his staff, which he used to drive the snakes out of Ireland. Behind him is a halo burst. Around the border of the rectangle are the words "Our Patron Saint Patrick Pray For Us". The back of the medal is blank with a brushed finish but can be engraved with the message of your choice. Includes an elegant deluxe velour jewelry box. Saint Patrick is credited with bringing Christianity to Ireland, where he used the shamrock/three leaf clove to explain the Holy Spirit to its people. He is said to also have banished all the snakes from Ireland. As such, he is the Patron Saint of the country.
