11/16" Satin and enameled finish sterling silver pierced heart miraculous medal on an 18" stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant, shaped like a heart, features a blue enameled oval with a figure of Mary on it in the center and carved out sides on the left and right. Surrounding Mary are the words, "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee." There are also diamond drag engraved details on the heart framing the oval. On the back of the oval in a brushed finish is the letter M, representing Mary, surmounted by a cross representing the sacrifice of Jesus, and surrounded by twelve stars that represent the twelve apostles. Includes an elegant deluxe velour jewelry box. The origin of the miraculous medal comes from the visions Saint Catherine Laboure experienced in the year 1830 of Mary Immaculate.
