Sterling Silver Medal of St. Patrick, Patron Saint of Ireland - 1"

1" Satin and antiqued finish sterling silver St. Patrick oval medal on a 24" stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant features a raised profile image of Saint Patrick on the front, who is shown with his staff, driving the snakes out of Ireland. On the top and bottom of the pendant are the words, "Saint Patrick Pray For Us". The back of the medal is blank with a brushed finish but can be engraved with the message of your choice. Includes an elegant deluxe velour jewelry box. Saint Patrick is credited with bringing Christianity to Ireland, where he used the shamrock/three leaf clove to explain the Holy Spirit to its people. He is said to also have banished all the snakes from Ireland. As such, he is the Patron Saint of the country.
