1" Satin and antiqued finish sterling silver St. George oval medal on a 24" stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant features a raised profile image of Saint George on the front, who is shown riding a horse as he slays a dragon. On the top and bottom of the pendant are the words, "Saint George Pray For Us". The back of the medal is blank with a brushed finish but can be engraved with the message of your choice. Includes an elegant deluxe velour jewelry box. Saint George is the Patron Saint of England and soldiers. In tradition, he was a Roman soldier who rescued a maiden from a dragon by making the sign of the cross and slaying the dragon.
