Sterling Silver Medal of St. Elizabeth, Patron Saint of Nurses - 3/4"

3/4" Sterling silver satin finish and diamond engraved St. Elizabeth, Patron of Nurses medal on 18" stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The front of the medal has a stamped image of St. Elizabeth with the words "Saint Elizabeth Pray For Us". The back of the medal is blank with a brushed finish. Includes an elegant deluxe velour jewelry box. Saint Elizabeth, who during her lifetime was known as Elizabeth of Hungary, lived for only a short while, but during that time she was a child, princess, mother, queen, widow, and exile. She was one of the most pious women to ever live, and directed all of her actions and intentions to God, as well as regularly giving alms to the poor. Her life was devoted to the aid of the poor and the sick, thus her being the Patron Saint of Nurses.
