1 1/16" x 5/8" Satin finish sterling silver St. Jude large oval medal on 24" stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant features a raised profile image of Saint Jude on the front, who is shown holding an image of Jesus Christ, known as the Image Of Edessa, and a book. On the top and bottom of the pendant are the words, "Saint Jude Thaddeus Pray For Us". The back of the medal is blank with a brushed finish but can be engraved with the message of your choice. Includes an elegant deluxe velour jewelry box. Saint Jude Thaddeus was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus. He is often depicted in icons with a flame around his head, which represents his presence at the Pentecost, when he received the Holy Spirit with the other apostles. He is also shown holding an image of Jesus Christ, known as the Image of Edessa, which was a holy relic of cloth upon which a miraculous image of Jesus' face was imprinted.
