13/16" Satin and antiqued finish sterling silver St. Jude oval medal on a 20" stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant features a raised profile image of Saint Jude on the front, who is shown holding an image of Jesus Christ, known as the Image Of Edessa, and a book. Around the inside border of the pendant are the words, "Saint Jude Pray For Us". The back of the medal is blank with a brushed finish but can be engraved with the message of your choice. Includes an elegant deluxe velour jewelry box. Saint Jude Thaddeus was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus. He is often depicted in icons with a flame around his head, which represents his presence at the Pentecost, when he received the Holy Spirit with the other apostles. He is also shown holding an image of Jesus Christ, known as the Image of Edessa, which was a holy relic of cloth upon which a miraculous image of Jesus' face was imprinted.
