Sterling Silver Blue Enameled Miraculous Medal Cross - 13/16"

13/16" Satin finish sterling silver cross with a miraculous medal center on a 20" stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant is shaped like a cross and has pointed decorative ends. In the center is a blue enameled oval with Mary in the center. Surrounding Mary are the words, "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee." On the back of the medal in a brushed finish is the letter M, representing Mary, surmounted by a cross representing the sacrifice of Jesus, and surrounded by twelve stars that represent the twelve apostles. Includes an elegant deluxe velour jewelry box. The origin of the miraculous medal comes from the visions Saint Catherine Laboure experienced in the year 1830 of Mary Immaculate.
