14K Gold Filled Shield Miraculous Medal in a Satin Finish - 3/4"

3/4" Satin finish 14K gold filled shield miraculous medal with a decorative border on an 18" stainless steel gold plated chain. Around the outside of the frame, which has Mary in the center, are the words, "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee." The back of the medal features the letter M, representing Mary, surmounted by a cross representing the sacrifice of Jesus, and surrounded by twelve stars that represent the twelve apostles. Includes an elegant deluxe velour jewelry box. The origin of the miraculous medal comes from the visions Saint Catherine Laboure experienced in the year 1830 of Mary Immaculate.
