15/16" Antiqued finish sterling silver St. Bridget round medal on a 20" stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant features a raised profile image of Saint Bridget on the front, who is shown holding a crozier. On the top and bottom of the pendant are the words, "Saint Bridget Pray For Us" in black text. The left and right sides of the medal feature engraved and antiqued stars. The back of the medal is blank with a brushed finish. Includes an elegant deluxe velour jewelry box. Saint Bridget (also spelled Brigid) is one of the patron saints of Ireland, along with Saint Patrick. She was the founder of a famous monastery in Kildare, Ireland, and was renowned for her generosity and compassion for the poor. She is also the patron saint of babies, midwives, children whose parents aren't married, scholars, poets, and farmers.
